‘This Friday (May 30th) Velo Sur Mer are holding their second ever bike race event! The race is a team relay between Boscombe and Bournemouth Pier. Teams must have between two and five members, each team must complete ten legs between them. One leg is from Boscombe to Bournemouth Pier and back. The race will be an intense sprint with any kind of bike eligible to take part and a bonus prize for the best dressed team. We’ve got prizes provided by our sponsors; Bigxtop, Boscombe Bike Club, Ass Savers, Cycle PS and Jimmy’s Iced Coffee as well as free iced coffee for every rider! Entrance fee is £10 per team (plus £1 per extra team member after two riders). Feel free to come along, take part and if you don’t have a team, we’ll be putting together at least one barbarians team on the day so have no fear. If you just want to watch, we’d love to have you come along. 6pm Meet, Boscombe Pier, Post race drinks at South Coast Roast from 8pm, see you down there!’
